The Film

The result of a month-long residency at PVA Artists’ Media Resource in Dorset, The Film is an open-ended free-associative collaboration between filmmaker and members of the Bridport community. Arriving as a stranger I met with strangers, and asked them to enter into the making of a film, The Film, with me, structured around happenstance and made by way of a collective cinematic wandering. The crystalline result has been described as 'Last of the Summer Wine directed by Chris Marker'.
